Klapp Transferpresse Easypress FuchsFolding lever presses, also known as knee or clamp presses, work in very confined spaces. The heating plate opens and closes like a crocodile mouth. The medium to be printed is placed on the bottom plate of the press. The heating plate is then firmly closed over it to apply the finishing layer. However, this technique has the disadvantage that no high pressures can be achieved due to the design.

Such a folding press is a good idea, if:

  • only a small footprint is available
  • Transfers are processed which do not require high pressures (e.g. flock, flex, inkjet or sublimation)
  • the budget is not sufficient for a swivel press
